  4. Installing CD-Runner
  5.  
  6.   1. Review the System Requirements(sysreq.txt) to ensure that your system
  7.      is compatible with this product.
  8.   2. Copy the CD-Runner download file into an empty installation directory
  9.      (such as C:\TEMP) and unzip. NOTE: Make sure that your temporary 
  10.      installation directory name does NOT include wildcards or special 
  11.      characters.
  12.   3. From the Windows Explorer or File Manager run setup.exe. 
  13.   4. You may delete the installation files upon completion of setup.
  14.   5. If the installation hangs at the "Automatic CD-ROM Drive ID" step,
  15.      restart the installation (you may need to reboot) and do not select
  16.      the automatic drive ID option (this is for a very few older CD-ROM
  17.      drives which were not fully compatible).
  18.   6. If you are upgrading from an earlier version, you may safely install
  19.      CD-Runner into the same directory (overwriting the older files of 
  20.      the same name); no data (e.g. CD info) will be lost.

  25.   Once you've entered the CD-Runner program, screen-sensitive Help is
  26.   available at all times by pressing F1. You may also manually read the
  27.   help text files in the CDRunner\CDRHelp directory.

  45. How to Install Your User ID Key After Registering
  46.  
  47. After registering and receiving your CD-Runner User ID key:
  48.  
  49. 1) Unzip your emailed User ID Key into your CD-Runner directory.
  50. 2) Play a CD (run CD-Runner), and from the About or popup menu 
  51.    screen select "Install ID" (HINT: right-click the player).
  52. 3) That's it. Enjoy!

  54. Registering CD-Runner guarantees you a minimum of 6 months of free
  55. upgrades! Any new CD-Runner version released during this time period 
  56. will be free for you (your existing user ID key will work).

  58. Note: It is recommended that you copy your User ID Key onto floppy
  59. disk or other removable media; replacement IDs may be subject to a 
  60. processing fee.
